about me

Marc Boiron is a partner in Manatt’s financial services group based in the Los Angeles office. Marc focuses his practice on blockchain and digital assets. His clients operate businesses across a broad range of industries that use innovative technologies to disrupt traditional businesses. He also advises venture funds making investments in blockchain companies and digital assets.

Prior to joining Manatt, Marc founded and led a blockchain-focused practice at a large California-based law firm, where he built a practice advising companies on a breadth of issues involving digital assets, including token distributions, fund portfolio investments, exchanges, custody and mining. Marc also advised early-stage companies on traditional financings and crowdfunding.

Marc is a frequent speaker on issues relating to blockchain technology, mainly educating on blockchain technology and cryptocurrency regulations. Marc has also served as an adjunct professor of law at the Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law, where he taught foundational transactional skills.

Marc completed a joint JD/MBA after earning a tennis scholarship at an NCAA Division I program with a top 25 ranked team in the nation. 

Marc was recognized by Super Lawyers as a Southern California Rising Star in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
